Ouch..
Went to bed at 4 with a pain in my side (not Ryan!) and it wouldn't go away, about ten minutes later I realize it's the same pain I felt back in April with my kidney stones. NO! It's been hurting constantly since then, though the pain comes in waves.
I went and saw my doctor and he gave me a prescription for antibiotics since there was no blood in my urine, just white blood cells (sign of a UTI), but he says if this is how it felt last time it's best to take those now before the red blood cells get in on things. He also suggested I go to the hospital, though all they'll do is a possible kidney U/S, give me a little pain medicine in an IV and send me home - if that's all they are going to do I'll save my money and just go home. No pain medicine is helping but a heating pad dulls the pain a bit. Please send good thoughts and prayers my way that I can pass this one and not have to have another lithotripsy! Also, no pain meds for me because of baby, which I'm fine with, so long as the antibiotics make me better.
