An update? No wai!

Miss S has encouraged me to update my blog more often by updating hers more often.

Not much has been going on, besides school and work. Work is good, I love my job.

School is hard, but not so hard it makes me want to quit. Except maybe my HR class but that's because of the teacher, not the workload.

I don't like going to school, but at the end of every semester I see how much closer I am to my associates and that's great. I may end up getting my BS in management instead of HR, but I'm not sure yet. I'll be going to school for at least 4 more years. After I get my associates in Mgmt I'm going to do the core at NLC also to save money so I won't have to do it at UNT/UTA (whichever I decide upon). I'm going to talk to the counselors at school and see if they can tell me who has a BS in mgmt track that I can take and see how many of my courses will transfer to it.

Also, I had surgery on Tuesday (4/24) minimally invasive. I had a kidney stone that I couldn't pass due to the way it was lodged and the shape of it (think sideways crescent) and then another one had gotten stuck behind it, so after vsiting the ER on Monday the 16th they diagnosed me with Renal Colic, and still not passing it and going back to the ER a week later on Monday the 23rd, they finally decided to perform a Lithotripsy on me. The Dr said that there was no way I could have passed the stones on my own, to quote him "It was like a lemon in a straw". Apparently the stones had irritated my ureter tube so badly that it was enflamed around them (besides the fact a normal ureter is about 3mm wide and my stone was 4mm) so I have a stent inside of my ureter keeping it open. The doctors were afraid that it would swell shut from the inflamation and if that happened my kidneys would shut down and I would die, which would not be good. I get the stent out next Tuesday.

They released me same day after making sure I could hold down liquids and solids. I'm not supposed to drive or work or basically do anything until I'm given the all clear by my doctor when I get the stent out, but I have to go to school or I'll fail so besides for going to school I'll be at home most of this next week.

I've been playing Super Paper Mario and sleeping mostly.

Anywa, I feel that's enough of an update for now.
