Pink Tinks & other Things

Well, it's going to cost $3,500. to fix my sister's car. She needs brand new passenger doors (I figured as much). I'm not upset because I have to pay it (nobody is telling me to, but I feel since I did it, that it's my duty to pay for it), I'm upset because her car was only $9,000. to begin with. So WTF is with the $3,500? Also, I just found out as long as you aren't the driver, it's okay to leave the scene of an accident in Texas, AND if you witness an accident, you don't have to come forward! W.T.F. This would explain why the old guy in the truck left before the police got there and they didn't care. This is really bothering me.
